LUKE 19:37-40 NKJ
37 Then, as He was now drawing near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice FOR ALL THE MIGHTY WORKS THEY HAD SEEN,
38 saying: “ ‘Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!’ Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
39 And some of the Pharisees called to Him from the crowd, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.” 40 But He answered and said to them, “I tell you that if these should keep silent, THE STONES WOULD IMMEDIATELY CRY OUT.”
MATTHEW 21:8-11 NLT
8 Most of the crowd spread their garments on the road ahead of him, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.9 JESUS WAS IN THE CENTER OF THE PROCESSION, AND THE PEOPLE ALL AROUND HIM WERE SHOUTING,
“Praise God for the Son of David! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Praise God in highest heaven!”
10 THE ENTIRE CITY OF JERUSALEM WAS IN AN UPROAR AS HE ENTERED. “Who is this?” they asked. 11 And the crowds replied, “It’s Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.”
JOHN 12:12-13 AMP
12 The next day, when the large crowd who had come to
the Passover feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,13 they took
“Hosanna! [ SAVE NOW! ] Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!”
JOHN 12:17-19 AMP
17 So the people, who were with Him when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead, continued to tell others about Him. 18 For this reason the crowd went to meet Him, because they heard that He had performed this [miraculous] sign.
19 Then the Pharisees [argued and] said to one another, “You see that your efforts are futile. LOOK! THE WHOLE WORLD HAS GONE [RUNNING] AFTER HIM!”
