August series week 5 "In The Meantime"

James was convinced the Lord’s coming was near. So he told the church how to live until He does.

Patience here is not going numb. It is the farmer who already planted, waiting through the bare field between the autumn rain and the spring rain. Stand firm. Do not pull the seed up because March has not arrived yet. Take trouble, joy, sickness, and struggle to God and to one another. Go after the one who has wandered.

End-times living is not hiding in a bunker. It is becoming the kind of people who can stand when the pressure gets loud.
