How to Live Free

Gal 5:7-9 7 You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth? 8 That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you. 9 “A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough.”

1.Freedom is never free

2 Peter 2:19 People are slaves to whatever has mastered them

John 8:36 "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed"

2.Freedom is a choice

Joshua 24:15

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Deuteronomy 30:19

“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.”

3.Freedom means following

Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:31-32).

Galatians 5:13: “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the Zlesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulZilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
