How it all started...
Champion Church was born in 2003 when Pastors Stephen & LaCinda were called to Arizona. We began with 68 people in attendance in a local school gymnasium and God blessed and increased us greatly.
We focused on missions and ministering to our community through many different outreaches and events. Our outdoor Christmas production, "Jesus Is Born" was created during that time, along with the "Yuma Family Pumpkin Patch". These iconic annual events remain a central part of our passion to make a difference in our community and provide opportunities for families to make lasting memories, and know that Champion Church is here for them.
By 2006 we had built our first facility on 20 acres, and was able to pay it off completely by 2009. God was so faithful as we continued to grow exponentially in size. In 2012, we doubled our building footprint and added a children's building.
Today, Champion Church remains passionate about reaching our community. We have recently added a weekly broadcast of our services on local television on three stations ABC, FOX, & CW, as well as online on Youtube.com.
While there are still people who need to know Jesus and take the next step in their spiritual journey, Champion will continue to welcome them home to God's house.
